INFORMM second HRDF claimable course, SELEX Training & Workshop

INFORMM KK, 16 - 18 Oct 2023 - The Institute for Research in Molecular Medicine (INFORMM) successfully hosted the SELEX Technology Workshop from October 16 to 18, 2023, at its Health Campus. The event, which included a webinar and hands-on workshop sessions, marked a significant milestone in the field of biotechnology. The workshop commenced with a webinar on October 16, providing an overview of SELEX technology and its potential applications. This was followed by two days of intensive hands-on training sessions from October 17^th  to 18^th, 2023.

The event saw participation from ten distinguished attendees from various sectors. Representatives from the industry included members from Nano Skunk, a leading player in the nanotechnology field. The National Fish Health Research Division, a renowned research institute, also marked its presence at the workshop. In addition, researchers from local universities such as MAHSA and USM were part of this enriching experience. The diverse backgrounds of the participants fostered an environment of knowledge exchange and collaborative learning.

Notably, the workshop also welcomed international participants from the Philippines Nuclear Research Institute and Karnataka University in India. This global participation underscores the growing interest and recognition of SELEX technology worldwide. The SELEX Technology Workshop has set a precedent for future events of its kind, fostering innovation and promoting advancements in biotechnology research across borders.
